Shannon Price - President & CEO
As Klio’s founder, Shannon is both the visionary and the conscience of each project the company takes on. It is her strong belief that the communities of our future must maintain ecological, social and economic harmony. She established Klio in 2002 to advance this approach in today’s real estate development environment.
With over 18 years experience in all aspects of real estate development, Shannon has a complete understanding of the project development lifecycle. She has worked internationally on a range of projects including destination resort and community developments. Her passion is developing and executing the community engagement process; and her specialty is identifying the cultural needs and shared community values that cement the long term relationships required to achieve project success.
Shannon’s unique perspective is rooted in her ability to place herself within the world-view of a person, community, or market to identify the strategies and practices that will ensure a project is innovative, unique and profitable. Her leadership, operational knowledge and vision guide Klio’s team of skilled professionals to ensure a unified approach to maintaining the authenticity of each project’s vision.
In 1998 Shannon received an award from the Coalition of Presidents of Central America for “helping to integrate the Isthmus” through a tourism development project she initiated and delivered for all seven Central American countries, with funding from The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
